Papery aroma with some crisp roasted notes, and light metallic hops. Low carbonation, smooth texture. A bit watery flavours, but there is more of the same papery malts. Finishes rather dry. Decent, but nothing exciting. imdownthepub (5171), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

The weird nitro widget does its tricks, making a good looking beer.
Dark ruby, firm head.
A little smokiness - a pleasant surprise. It is thin, yes, but there is a fine mouth feel and a hint of decent flavour.

More roasted malts in the flavour. Some notes of coffee. Faintly metallic? Watery palate. Judged as a Low ABV beer its very nice. llcooldave (337), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Pours black with a reddish hue. Aroma is quite interesting, almost like cinnamon bread. Very creamy on the palate, coupled with the roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes, makes me think I’m drinking coffee cake. But not that sweet. Personally I think it has more character & flavor than Guiness. Not a bad brew! Marsiblursi (1650), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 1, 2007 (Can) Pours deep dark red to black. Light roasted and a tiny bit milky aroma with notes of chocolate and coffee. Light fruity and hoppy. Also some salt, brown sugar, spicy vanilla, flower nectar and pepper. Hints of green apples come through both in the aroma and in the flavour. Milky and light roasted flavour with tones of milk chocolate and light coffee notes. Some grass and some fruity tones in the flavour as well. Smooth and quite soft but a bit infected mouthfeel. A bit bitter, sour and light dry finish. Light bodied. It was opaque black with a big, creamy, tan head. The taste was smooth and creamy and light for a stout. The hops come in late and left a mild aftertaste. It lacks the body That I expect in a stout.
