Can, 50 cl. Dark opaque brown, small but firm & creamy beige head. Roasted malts with dark chocolate and some vanilla. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish. A good 3.5 % abv stout.

16oz can, with a gizmo thing in it. I’m not sure this rating is in the right place, as it has only 15 ratings from across the pond, but the can says "Murphy’s Draught Style Stout," and looks quite a bit different from the Irish Stout. Pours a black color with foam that takes awhile to settle toward the top into a head. The pour is almost exactly like guinness, probably because of the thingy they put in the can. Scent is bready and yeasty, with a small amount of nondescript hop flavor. The flavor is a little more pleasant than the scent. It’s mostly dry, and a previous description of green apples is pretty accurate. Mouthfeel is flat (that stupid gizmo in the can destroyed the bubbles, I think) and thin. The finish is papery, and there’s a generic "beer" aftertaste. This one isn’t so great. It’s drinkable, but it’s not very interesting, and the paper flavor isn’t welcome at all.

(50 cl can, purchased at one of the COOP supermarket stores) Dark red color, tan creamy head. Light roasted and some chocolate scent. A bit thin body. Roasted taste and aftertaste. Medium bitterness. Nice and drinkable. I find it to be one of the better 3.5% beers around, lacks some hops though. According to the can it seems to be brewed by Spendrups!?

Black, with a beautiful creamy and very lasting brownish head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee and cocoa and with some vanilla notes. Roasted flavor, coffee and some fruits can be found. A bit too thin but a very good example of a 3.5-beer...

[Canned] Transparently dark brown with creamy nitro head. Appley aroma with a dash of coffe and metal. Roasty and light bodied. Fairly sweet and mellow. Green apples dominate. Porly executed with an industrialfeel to it.

Pours almost black with a typically creamy off-white head. Weak creamy aroma with only slight roast malt showing. Thin mouthful again only showing a little roast malt coffeeness. The finish gives nothing, but in all it isn’t too bad to drink, as expected it is just a watered down Murphy’s.

Overall not a bad beer; this is the Swedish version of the real thing. Almost the same, except for a bit wateriness. But the taste is left.
