Just incredible amounts of bittering hops in this stuff. light in color medium white head. it’s not really balanced at all. Just the beer i’ve been hoping to find for a long time. just tears yer larnyx out. hoppiest IPA i have had. i’d have to go side by side but it’s likely more harsh than even furious.! The smell is amazing, piney, fruity goodness. Lots of bitter hops greet your palate with a wham, and i think my toungue was numb after the second pint. Doesnt look like others thought it was a hop bomb, but this is coming from a guy who drinks Furious every day, and this was right up there with that. Made even better after getting a free growler. One of the best pale ales i have had. TheEnemy (422), Chicago, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2007 On tap. Pours a very lightly cloudy, light amber color with a decent head of very tightly packed bubbles that provide excellent lacing.. Big floral & piney hop aroma with decent citrus; sweet, moderately rich malt shows up too. Pine dominates the flavor, perhaps a little too much; almost tastes like dish soap. Citrus and malt sweetness are not absent but don’t provide enough support for the big hop bitterness. Medium body and slightly sticky palate. Definitely on the right track but not quite balanced enough for my tastes. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with plenty of piney hops. Finish is slightly dry with a lingering pine aftertaste. A little lighter than the South Shore version. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pours a clear darkish copper color with half an inch of white foam. Good webby lacing throughout the pint. Mildly hoppy aroma.
Oh man, this beer really tasty. Huge malt flavor with tons of caramel, much more malt than the aroma led me to believe. Perfectly balanced with a nice citrus hop presence. The aftertaste was both caramelly and mildly bitter and hoppy. Medium bodied, smooth, very fresh, good carbonation.
