On tap at the Wisconsin Micro-Brewer’s Beer Fest as "Irish Milk Stout". Poured medium-deep brown with a huge, creamy cap of beige head. The aroma was on the sweet side with chocolates and touches of coffee leading.. light, airy, spicy notes surrounded.. well-presented. The flavor found milky chocolates all over the place touched by toasty molasses and some coffee.. sweeter yet on the back, picking up brown sugar and more chocolate.. tasty! Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation on the palate and a fuller feel to it.. sweet and toasty with a memorable finish. Great brew!

Black as night, served on Nitro. Nice cascading effect, ala Guniess. Tastes very similar too, very creamy, but light on the pallate. Some coffee aspects from malt, easy to drink, a fine Guiness clone.

Pours an opaque black colour with reddish tint near the bottom of the glass. Head was finger sized, tan and nutty. Wood, soft smoke, and black licorice flavors, mouthfeel was light and creamy- however taste was slightly metallicy near the finish.

Fourth stop during May ’07 brewpub tour, on tap at the Hayward brewpub this beer pours a black brew with some red highlights and a foamy tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma of strong coffee, apples and dark chocolate. Taste of mocha and chocolate barley malt. Some bitter aftertaste.

Dark roasted malt nose on this dark brown pour. Body had an oatmeal flavor ruined by the ever present apple in the mUskie beers I tried. On tap at Muskie Capital.

(Tap) Pours black with small tan head. Not as strong as a typical stout. Coffee and toffee notes with a slightly sweet and dry aftertaste.
