Musta Hevonen (old version)

Keg (Nousuvesi, Espoo). Neither a Czech dark lager nor a German Schwartz. Less sweet than many on the Czech side, and more bitter than many on the German size. Actually quite a nice refreshing beer. Richly roasted malts, some hint of coffee. Slips down easily on a warm day.

Very tasteless dark lager. Far too thin and slightly sweetish. No must have.

Somewhat thin body and palate. Ok coffeeish and dark malt flavours, but not the best dark lager in Finland by any means. A rival to Koff Velvet. The name means ’Black Horse’.
