Papsoe (10540), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a tall and lively beige head. Aroma of burned caramel. Medium body with burned caramel and fruit. Lightly burned malt bitterness. Has a discreet underlying acidity but nothing that spoils the fun. 310808 Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 1, 2008 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hops, malt, caramel, and berries. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of berries, but also with a hint of acidity, leading to a dry woody finish. Thanks Myrup for sharing. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 1, 2008 Bottle.

Pours hazy orange to brown with a dense off-white head. Spiced, citric/acidic - infected :(. Flavour holds a nice malt base, solid spice note and a very citric/acidic. Finish sadly reveals more citric note. I assume this could have been great clean, but another fine example of the importance of cleaning the bottles before the beer is put on.
