Unclear hazy medium orange amber color with a huge, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, orange acidic, spruce, pine needle. Flavor is moderate sweet and acid pine needle with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (170508)

Jun 9, 2008 Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of spruce, as well as a light acidity, and so is the flavor. A bit too much spruce for my liking.

Jun 1, 2008 This brew is brewed with pine needels instead of hops. At this point it’s only 14 days old, and it will develop further. The aroma has notes of pine, the flavour is spicy with notes of pine, pine, pine and oh, yes pine, but also pine bubble bath, light citrus and malt. It’s exciting, but yet a bit sharp, I hope it will develop the unique smoothness as the one found in Årgab Deco pine!
