Smells of tea, dough, some caramel and peppery. Tastes of dark chocolate and caramel. Surprising syrupy mouthfeel. Very drinkable. sloth (1672), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

The label on the bottle was for the brown ale, the neck band was extoling the virtues of their pale ale, silly boys. Poured a small light brown head that hung around for a bit, moderate lace. Clear, brown color with a red glow. Caramelly nose with toasted malts. Medium body, lightly creamy. Caramel flavors dominate, hops are in there somewhere, lightly grainy. Finish is dry, grainy. I,m probably giving it a higher score than it really deserves but i,m a fan of the caramel flavor, soooo. Thanks Jeff! Cottrell (72), Connecticut, USA

Aroma is sweet caramel, chocolate, and plentiful earthy hops. Flavor starts a bit bready, with chocolate and light roasty flavors, as well as caramel. Finish is nice and dry, with a healthy hop bite and earthy hop flavor. Very nice, very drinkable, much better than I was expecting. Bov (5440), Bienne, Switzerland
