Poured really deep dark brown. Had a nice citrus/mild hops nose. Flavor was caramel and toffee malts with a lot of carbonation. Mouthfeel was a little wispy but still very good. The high abv was evident but not overpowering, and the finish was good with lingering traces of hops. Very alcoholic flavor but with maltiness and hops that supports it
A touch of spice and fruit Blom (390), Odense, Denmark Mar 21, 2008 Dark brown with a low head. Sweet and spciy aroma of cinnamon and toffee. Lots of herbs in the flavour with notes of prunes and some coriander. Has a creamy palette and a lingering finish.
