My first one from Brasserie D’Achouffe. This pours out a dark brown with a small white head. Looks like a dark ruby red if held into direct light. Sampled this guy at room temp. Smells comming off of it are very yeasty and spicy, spices include corriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, and thyme. Taste is very much like a Christmas fruitcake filled with spices galore. This beer is chock full of dark fruits such as plum and dates in addition to all the spices. A very holiday beer, maybe should have saved this one for a little later in the season. A good brew but not one I could have over and over again due to the high ammount of spices in the thing.

Draft @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Dark cola like color with reddish maroon tint. Medium body. Malty flavor, some hops, bubbly. Packs a sucker punch. Starts off easy & gets you at the finish. pool shark in a bottle.

[Bottle, thanks AndyMagnum] Pours red with a small head. Aroma is malty, fruity (banana and apple), a little yeast. Taste is sweet, malty, some alcohol. Long, somewhat dry finish. A little thin. Pretty good.

(bottle, thanks AndyMagnum) Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Nice aroma of malt (caramel) spice, banana and raisin. Very malty sweet taste initially which rounds out to a nice spicy finish with some yeast to round it out with a slight alcohol kick. This is a quality beer.

Bottle. Dark browny murky, thick huge white head. Nose is spicy and peppery, some hints of lemon, plenty of malt. Some rosemary and yeasty. Mouth is slightly less fizzy than the nose, spices and cinnamon, some coriander and raisin, with bags of pepper. Quite nice and drinkable, unfortunately drank on a hot night, probably best to save for a cold one!
