Ungstrup (10794), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2003 A orange unclear beer with a fine head for a cask conditioned beer. The aroma is fruity with notes of orange. The flavor is very nice with notes of orange, fruit, and flowers. It ends on a great bitterness - from a good bitter hop. omhper (9956), Stockholm, Sweden May 17, 2003 Updated: Jun 26, 2003Sampled cask conditioned at the Danish Beer Festival.
Cloudy orange. Rich grapefruity cascade hop aroma. Medium sweet and medium bodied with long bitter finish wher grapefruit is predominant. The sample I had still felt a bit raw, and given enough time to condition this is a beer with great potential. Already as it was it is a really good ale. Papsoe (9656), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 6, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Dark, hazy amber with a small off-white head. Lovely malty base with notes of both nuts and caramel. But no real sweetness, on the contrary a dry, dry bitter hoppiness. Rather lovely. An extreme yeast sediment finishes this. 010605 joergen (6130), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 23, 2005 Golden colour with a small off white head. Aroma of grass, aroma hops and grapefruit. Malty and hoppy flavour with notes of grapefruit. sk8viking (6028), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 10, 2004 Dark golden color, heavy hoppy aroma, light malty bitter taste, medium body, dry finish.
