Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a dark dark brown. Strong coffee aroma of espresso beans and malt. Bitter and smooth coffee-malt taste. Great lingering coffee bean flavors. Really tasty sweet stout.

Aug 25, 2008 Dark, dark brown pour with a squatty brown head. The coffee and licorice aroma is nice, and there’s a little vanilla and molasses. Lots of black coffee with some caramel malt and cream coming through as the beer warmed. The chocolate is more like a chicory taste. Some soy taste, but some oatmeal/grain flavors.

Aug 2, 2008 Very deep, almost black color with dark brown head. Aroma is dark chocolatey, roasty malty and very much coffeey. Flavor is same: chocolate(,) malts and coffee. Also some liqueur-like flavor. Medium-bodied, oily, low and smoothly carbonated palate.
