Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 18, 2003 A deep red beer with a small fast disappearing head. The aroma is very light but sweet and malty. The flavor is lovely; sweet and malty from a good malt blend with notes of straws and yeast. It ends on a light bitterness - and it is very easily drinkable for a 5.5% ABV beer. A really good beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 17, 2004 Sampled draught at Dansk Ølfestival.
Pale amber. Roasty, flowery hoppy nose. Quite nalty and clean with some grapefruit and good bitterness. A pleasant, straight forward beer. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 14, 2005 (On tap) Fully golden rather than red, decent head. Pronounced hoppy notes and a rather odd acidity. Hops linger very long all through to the aftertaste. Quite light-bodied without much fullness. Vey different to any other Irish ale I’ve tried. 110404 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 16, 2007 60 cL bottle. Pours red with yellow/brown creamy head. Has sweet/sour and fruity aroma.
