A deep red beer with a small fast disappearing head. The aroma is very light but sweet and malty. The flavor is lovely; sweet and malty from a good malt blend with notes of straws and yeast. It ends on a light bitterness - and it is very easily drinkable for a 5.5% ABV beer. A really good beer.

Pale amber. Roasty, flowery hoppy nose. Quite nalty and clean with some grapefruit and good bitterness. A pleasant, straight forward beer.

(On tap) Fully golden rather than red, decent head. Pronounced hoppy notes and a rather odd acidity. Hops linger very long all through to the aftertaste. Quite light-bodied without much fullness. Vey different to any other Irish ale I’ve tried. 110404
