Mar 20, 2007 Draft. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is very sweet and very malty combined with notes of over ripe fruits, and hints of spices, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with a powerful malt base and notes of both fresh and over ripe fruits - remindind me of mango and peaches, but also with light spicy notes - especially cinnamon, and a touch of alcohol, that leaves a sligth burn on the tongue, towards the end the alcohol leaves a slight metallic note. No wonder the body is powerful.

May 14, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear nut brown. Estery winegum aroma. Sweet, dense and compact. Really malty and estery with lots of flavours- almond, strawberries and caramel included. Intense, and powerful, never intimidating or cloying. Excellent!

May 17, 2007 (On tap) Clear, dark, amber golden with an off-white head.. Fat aroma of caramel and yeast. Very full-bodied, lots of caramel and fruit and a yesty edge. Sweetish - yet rather hoppy - finish. Lovely. 110507

Aroma of plums, cloves, fruits, marzipan and spices.
Flavour of plums, bananas, yeast, cloves and spices with notes of alcohol.
Alcoholic and hoppy finish.

May 28, 2007 CBF07 sample from tap. Pours amber with little head. Aroma of of dried fruit and alcohol. Flavour is alcohol and dried fruit. Finish is alcohol and and spicy bitter. Fullbodied.
