| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Bottle, from Wine Warehouse. Pours toasted orange in color, with a small white head and lacing. Aroma is earthy, lightly hopped, blossomy, with minerally notes. Palate is light, creamy through the middle, finishing soft. Flavor has a rather interesting blend of rose water, creamy malt, and fruitiness. Pretty interesting little pale ale, delicate rather than bold. Tmoney99 (4792), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear pale color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Medium hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with smoht texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with a good session beer.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a slightly orangish gold with a decent head a little bit of haze and steady streams of carbonation rising upward. Aromas are very floral with a little bit of a citrus edge and a honey flavored malt presence. Flavor is pretty sweet... honey and apple juice are the mainstays, but there is a little bit of lemon there, too. Nice enough, but rather unassertive. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Bought this on a whim while in Napa Valley. Pours to a slightly hazy, very pale yellow, with thin white head that lingers tio mid-glass. Aroma is hoppy fruit (apples, lemons and grapes) mixed with a floral bouquet and a hint of malt. Actually a nice full mouthfeel that led into a taste that accented the fruits of the nose.
FInished off pleasantly. This wouldn’t be a bad session beer.

For $3.99 I was willing to gamble on this new entry to the Ohio market. The outcome was not terribly disappointing but on the whole it was an average pale ale. I may still recommend it to someone who has a tight budget but for a few more dollars there are other better alternatives.
Aroma / Appearance - The stark white head was a contrast against the golden transparent liquid below. Wheaty puff escaped the glass in the manner of a beer trying to be as generic and inoffensive as possible.
Flavor / Palate - A tinge of sourness made me wonder if this was the best sample but it soon faded. Afterwards came a dry lemony taste that was a bit like squeezing lemon juice onto slightly overcooked white toast. Kind of predictable there was little to set it apart. It’s best strength is its price and the fact that for a brewery located in the heart of wine country it is not swill. baraciisch (156), USA
