(Draught at Pikulintu on 2008-11-13) Dark reddish brown. Clear. Small white head. Hoppy and malty nose. Full bodied palate with little carbonation. Hops, hint of fruitiness, lots of malts, bitterness, grass, sweetness and black currant in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

(On tap) Clear, warm amber golden with a yellowish head. Fat, peachy aroma with sweetish burned caramel. Quite full-bodied with plenty of burned caramel and overripe fruit. Very subdued bitterness. A very decent....Barleywine! 120908

On tap @ EBF. Clear reddish orange with a thin beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dry fruit/raisin and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit and hops. Quite sweet, rather rough and surprisingly nice after a few sips.

Amber with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Rich aroma of molasses, figs and hops. Dry and rich malty flavour with a little molasses, and a touch of alcohol. If you wanna brew a strong, sweet and malty beer, this is the ideal...

EBF2008. It’s a dark, red amber color and the head is small and lasting. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and both light and darker fruits. The flavour has sweetness and notes of caramel, light and dark fruits, hints of spice and licorice. The finish has a nice bitterness. A nice beer.

On tap at EBF 08. Chestnut, lasting beige head. American hoppy aroma. Good aroma, some malt in mouth, some sweaty sox. It’s like an American strong. Nice, I liked it, slightly sweet fruity malty and touch of strawberry jam.

[on tap at EBF 2008] Aroma is nicely balanced oak and sherry with spicy toffee malt, plenty of pine hops, and a hint of lemon. Very reddish brown with a thick, off-white ring. Nutty and watery flavour with watermelon and very bitter walnut. Citrusy notes with some bitter orange. Too bitter, thin and watery.
