Sep 29, 2008 Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival. An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, yeast, hops, and malt as well as alcohol that leaves a burn on the tongue, before a dry bitter finish sets in.

Sep 24, 2008 On tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Perfect barley wine / old ale appearance - rich, reddy chestnut with a little beige head. Alcohol, malt, hops on the nose. Nice Christmas spices on the tongue and a pleasingly light palate, not too clingy and cloying, given it is 8.2%.

Sep 24, 2008 Draught@EBF2008. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is grass, hops, peach and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is much the same. Quite a lot of alcohol and peach in the flavour. Very sweet, but yet quite wellbalanced. Bigtime bittery finish.

Sep 22, 2008 Draught@EBF 2008. A brown beer with a thin tan head. Fruity hop aroma with notes of honey burned caramel. Taste has a rather intense and sharpish hop bitterness. Some sweet maltiness underneath. Notes of caramel. Mid-bodied. Long bitter ending. Tasty and powerful, a bit out of balance though.
