Pours slightly muddy ruby red with a good, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma has some cardboard notes, good maltiness and toffee and liquorice. Wonderful, super-creamy mouthfeel. Flavour maintains the cardboard notes, which don’t seem yeast based, more malty. Good viniousness, chocolate, caramel and a good pine-hoppy finish. JorisPPattyn (5182), Antwerpen, Belgium

Hops, with a rather crude, aggressive hoparoma - like from extract? Some liquorice. Liquorice again and more aggressive hops. Harsh flavour, ending on hidden spice. Burning MF, very slick and viscous, alcoholwarming prominent. this is an over-the-top one, for sure. Too aggressive by half. TBone (6803), Pori, Finland
