Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, prunes and raisins. Sweetish roasted flavour, again chocolate and dried fruits, especially prunes. Dry finish. Medium to full bodied. Very well brewed, but too much prunes for me. Ungstrup (15220), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of coffee as well as lots of over ripe fruits and prunes, and lighter notes of alcohol and berries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of both coffee, cocoa, and berries, leading to a dry roasted end. Theis (3740), Denmark

Sweet-honeyish, very malty and pleasant aroma. Licoricey, roasted-malty flavor with quite nice hops and some yeasty Belgian dubbel character. The latest batch at 7.4 ABV was a bit too color-malty - could give 8 for the flavor. Smooth and creamy, quite full-bodied palate with no signs of alcohol. An excellent, full, smooth and tasty porter. I heard this is the same as Max Golding, but without dry-hopping. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden
