On tap. Black body with a dense brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, mocha, coffee and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is like promised from aroma, very balanced with a nice bitter and warming finish. Complex and lovely.

Draught@Bishop’s Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg. Fingerthick, stable, creamy espresso head. Black body, no clarity. Dark chocolate, cocoa and plummy fruitiness in the aroma. Also some dark malts with a well rounded roastedness. Taste is chocolatey, with roasted dark malts, cocoa and sweet licorice. A fine, balancing hop bitterness beneath. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Medium to full body. Choco finish with a light acidic twist. Tasty, complex and well balanced. Yum.

Draught at Kaisla. Very dark. Slight sourness in the aroma, very roasted as well. Flavor is dominated by coffee, roasted nalts and liquorice. Nice porter, no doubt.

Jet black, healthy tan head. Rich roasty aroma, some pleasant hops. Sweet retronasal hops - a touch nettley, but sweet. Fairly dry palate, a touch mouthcoating powderiness. Very rich roasty taste with a tingly, almost nettley twist. Very tasty and well balanced, but doesn’t quite have everything in perfect order. Up there with Nekron, Jatsijussi and SPortteri #1.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, on 2009-07-03) Black. Small tan coloured head. Coffee, roastedness and liquorice in aroma. Full bodied, warming and dry palate with quite high carbonation. Roastedness, ash, coffee, bitterness, lightly fruitiness, some bitter cocoa and tiny amount of liquorice in taste. Ash, rostedness and bitterness in aftertaste.

Draught. Look: Black with beige head. Smell: Smells a lot of different things at the same time; licorice, smoke, raspberry(!). Taste: Complex! Lots of chocolate and roasted tones, also coffee, licorice and fruits. Overall: Complex but not over the top. Very drinkable!

Draught at Akkurat. Dark brown with a small brown head. Smells of licorice and firecrackers. Fulll bodied and smooth. Great complexity for a beer with "just 7,2%" alcohol.
