larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Feb 28, 2008 Biggish lasting offwhite creamy head. Pale yellow body. Intense catty tropical fruit hop aroma, somewhat thin, with straw and rubber notes. Delicate sweetish resiny honeyish taste with catty tropical fruit notes and hints of oranges. Dusty, chalky mouthfeel. Dry, almost bitter, dandelion aftertaste with grapefruit notes. Very nice. (0.25l draft at Bishop’s Arms, Göteborg.) Egon (392), Gothenburg, Sweden Feb 1, 2008 Draught. Yellow with white head. Hops! At first you meet a lot of hops. Some yeast and fruits. After taste also dominates of the hops but there is some citrus in it as well. Slightly too bitter but not bad. oh6gdx (8794), Vasa, Finland Dec 19, 2007 Draught. Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, mediumsized and longlasting white fluffy head. Aroma is citrus fruity hoppy with some mild flowery and yeasty notes. Flavour is berries, citrusfruits. Aftertaste is dominated by fruits and some caramelly notes. Excellently balanced. Jukkabro (2981), Tampere, Finland Dec 9, 2007 Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Rich fruits and hops in fine flowery aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is richer with same dominating floral note, hops and some caramelly toffee also here with spicy touch. Aftertaste is also nice with hops and some balancing caramel. Lemon and some Danish yeasty vegetable also comes up. Nice balanced brew. Marsiblursi (1628), Göteborg, Sweden Nov 15, 2007 (Draught) Pours light hazy golden orange. Hoppy citrus aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, juicy orange and rhubarb. Undertones of spruce/pine, grass and black currant. Also a light malt sweetness of sponge cake and some plum like yeast. Maybe even some apricots in the background. Juicy and citric flavour with tones of grapefruit and oranges. Undertones of black currant and some malty sweetness. Clean and soft mouthfeel. Medium bitter with a dryish finish. Light bodied. Maybe one of the cleanest beers I have ever tried but still a very lively and playful creation. Thank you Närke. gnoff (3559), Göteborg, Sweden Nov 14, 2007 (Draught at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg) Label states 4.8% ABV. Shady golden color, nice fluffy white head. Fresh fruity and herbal scent. Grape bitter hoppy taste, almost to the extreme. Medium mouthfeel. High bitterenss. Nice, but for me could have a bit more aroma and be a bit less bitter. Not well balanced. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Nov 12, 2007 (Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Hazy yellow-golden with a small, lasting head. Crisply hoppy aroma with pine and some toffee. Piney, crisply hoppy flavor with some balancing, toffeeish maltiness. Medium-bodied, dry and quite low-carbonated palate. Very nice for the ABV - a bit less hoppy version of Bedarö Bitter. larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden Oct 27, 2007 Sampled at SBWF, 2007.
Slightly hazy, golden. Small bubbly head.
Sweet and grassy hoppiness in both aroma and flavour; like hay actually.
Fruity and sweet with loads of hoppiness.
