kappldav123 (1815), Markkleeberg, Germany Nov 19, 2009 Bottle @ home. The bottle looks very simple, but great. The beer in the glass is deep black, small head. Starts very strong and malty, roasty, notes of strong coffee and bitter chocolate. Also some caramell. All notes are very well balanced. A very, very good beer! Smooth mouthfeel and a thich body. jerohen (1611), Bussum, Netherlands Nov 1, 2009 On draft at 1st Borefts Bier Festival, Bodegraven, 2007 version. Black appearance, brown head. Very typical Stormaktsporter aroma, highly characteristic but i can’t put my finger on it, roasted malts, caramel, peat. Very full flavoured, chocolate malts and coffee. This stuff is unbelievably good, and imho even as good as the Kaggen. Fantastic! Please make this more easily available...
