Draught@EBF 2008. Black-bodied with a dense choclate-brown head. Very aromatic, coffee, caramel and a rounded roastiness is dominating. Taste is rich malty, gently sweet with a fine bitterness that lingers. Notes of raisins, chocolate, coffee and wood. Medium to full body. Smooth texture. Long complex finish. Very nice.

Bottle from Wetherel, thanks John. I’m not sure what’s the difference between this and the kaggen, but I thought this was great. Dark black, thick pour with no carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt, chocolate, and coffee. Flavors were sweet malt, and chocolate and dark fruit.

Oh yum. Shard with wetherel at tontacatchers tasting. Aromas of burnt malts and coffee. Flavors quickly turned to smoke. More burnt malt, and bitter black chocolate coffee. Yum Yum Yum.
