Sep 20, 2008 Tap at EBF. Pitch black with a full creamy brown head. Lots of pleasant roast. Chocolate, coffee. Mild, smooth, full & heavenly silky palate. A bit sticky. Not as complex as kaggen - but who gives a fuck really!

Sep 20, 2008 Nice roasted aroma. Black color with a brown head. Nice roasted body with hints of chocolate and burned caramel. Nice roasted palate. Very nice.

Sep 16, 2008 Pitch black. tiny fast dissapering head. Strong aroma of hardburned malt, liqourice, dark roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Strong sweet flavour, long sweet finish with some dryness and bitterness in finish. Powerfull and complex.

Sep 16, 2008 Draught at EBF08. Grainy, slightly rough aroma. Black colour, beautiful big brown head. Good sweet flavour, nice hoppiness. Sweet and sticky in a very good way. Harpiks (resin?) notes, hint of old cheese. Some honey notes. Very good.

Sep 15, 2008 On tap @ European Beerfistival. Pours black with a yellow/beige head. Smells of honey. Sweet with aromas of toasted malts and strong hops aromas. Also some vanilla and very dark chocolate. Dry finish. Lovely.

Sep 15, 2008 Tap @ EBF 2008, vintage 2007. Black and opague. Licorice and some roast in the firm aroma. Bittersweet flavor with roast, licorice, ash, plums, chocolate. Complex and delicious.
