Sep 15, 2008 On tap @ European Beerfistival. Pours black with a yellow/beige head. Smells of honey. Sweet with aromas of toasted malts and strong hops aromas. Also some vanilla and very dark chocolate. Dry finish. Lovely.

Sep 15, 2008 Tap @ EBF 2008, vintage 2007. Black and opague. Licorice and some roast in the firm aroma. Bittersweet flavor with roast, licorice, ash, plums, chocolate. Complex and delicious.

Black with a brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, coffee, chocolate, dark fruits), moderate hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Almost full body. Vintage 2007.

Sep 14, 2008 Tap at EBF 2008. This was a vintage 2007 Pitch black, pours like oil, with a small, fast dissapering, brown head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt, roasted coffee, black chocolate, dry fruit and some cheese in there as well? Flavor is as good as the aroma is indicating. Sweet, dark, soft, powerfull... you name it, it has it. Very well balanced and complex. This was in my top two at the festival. this i would really like to try again.

Sep 13, 2008 Updated: Sep 22, 2008Black with medium dark beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel notes. Sweet vinious flavour with roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and alcohol notes. Ends nice and roasty with warming alcohol notes.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle 0,25l at The Bishops Arms, Luleå 4 Aug 08. Also labeled "Årgangsporter 2006". Black as coal. A mocca coloured head. Strong aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Surprisingly easy to drink. A well balanced flavor in the same direction as the aroma and lasting almost forever. Aftertaste of chocolate. This is art!
