Commercial Description:
Fall 2009. This beer showcases the role of malt in beer. It is made with 4 different malts and with flaked barley. The addition of flaked barley to the mash lends a smooth mouthfeel. It is deep amber in color and lightly hopped with English grown hops to provide just enough bitterness to balance the malt. Flavors of caramel and toffee dominate up front with a subtle warming from the alcohol in the finish. Enjoy this beer with grilled meats and chocolate based desserts.
