An attractive dark Amber brew with a slight pinkish tint and a medium tan head. Has a strawberry scent, but not an overwhelming sweet jelly type strawberry, more subtle. Malt scent also noticeable under the fruit. Quite fizzy, similar to a slightly burnt piece of toast with butter and a dab of strawberry jam. An interesting take on a fruit beer but this and Tendo’s Grape just don’t work for me. I’d much prefer a tart Cherry Kriek!
