CapFlu (3242), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Mar 9, 2008 (Draught) Sampled at Whitespot in Colwood for $4.29. Foamy, small white head with a deep yellow body. Fairly carbonated. Served too cold. Again, the nose is mainly void of aromas except for a faint caramel malt and something perhaps hoppy. Unidimensional, mild malt flavour. Boring.
jerc (3050), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 7, 2007 Draft @ The White Spot in Kelowna. Crisp golden yellow body, served so cold that the lacing has frozen to the glass with iced foamy white head. (3+) Floral alcoholic aroma, sweet baking flour notes, hints at honey. (6+) Pleasant bitterness throughout, surprisingly more so than the pale ale. Floral hops and mild pale malt. Average to medium palate. (3+) I think this likely benefited from being cold, but I actually somewhat preferred it to the pale. mgermani (558), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jan 18, 2007 Served draft at the White Spot. Pale watery yellow, almost no head, some lace. Aroma very faint, sweet, mild hopping. Tastes like it almost contains hops for the briefest of moments, and then a warm sweet finish overpowers any hint of actual hopping. Body not too bad, with a unified transition to aftertaste. Very drinkable, unremarkable but hardly bad. Crit (2213), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Dec 20, 2006 A slightly sweet lager with a decent body. However an unpleasant unclean/dirty line taste overshadows all else.
