Pours a hazy soft yellow with a thin frothy white head. The nose is fruity, sweet, corn, malty. The flavor is grainy and suffers from the same "foot" flavor the other NG brews do. Crisp mouthfeel with a light grassy hop character.

On tap at NG. Pours a opaque copper color with a fizzy white head. Has hints of yeast, light hops, and finishes kind of sweet. Nothing special here.

From notes 8/30/06: Per the board: 5.0% ABV, medium bodied, sweet malt aroma. Pours a very light and soft golden amber color leaning towards a light orange. Very clean, very dilute, easy to see your fingers through the beer as you grasp the pint. Airy, wispy head of off-white forms stubbornly, ultimately reducing to just a thin collar of soapy bubbles. No lacing. Very mild aromatics here. I detect some of that "sweet malt aroma" the board proclaims, but honestly it is rather bland and quiet. Nutty, toasty flavors. As I dive further into the pint (and pints) the two meld into a more pronounced toasted nut character. Gentle blend of German hoppiness. Subtle prickliness. Sweetness of the malts easily tempered by a bitter feel. "Medium bodied" is appropriate. Smooth and clean with a slight tingle in the back of the palate after the swallow.
