TURDFERGUSON (1594), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Jul 20, 2009 Bottle shared by Taylor. A pretty middle of the road amber. Easy drinking, but the flavor lacks any depth. Light hops and malt and some cardboard and metal too!! Not terrible, but I’d just assume have a pbr for half the price. TheOrange (405), Kent, Ohio, USA Jun 5, 2009 Nice amber pour with a medium sized yellow hued head. The aroma is dominated by sweet hops and caramel malts. The beer is much lighter then expected, and much higher carbonation than I like. The flavor is as expected from the aroma, but much more mild than expected too. This might be a great hot weather beer. But on a cool night is is OK. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Feb 12, 2009 Copper pour with creamy off white head and lace. Light malt and not much more on the nose. Very little hint of caramel malt and not much bitter. A tad foamy but not thin. Pretty good aa, I should have had it as my second beer. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jan 16, 2009 Bottle on 09/01/2008. Clear amber body with a large frothy tan head that quickly
diminishes. Caramel and earthy malt aroma with some earthy and floral hop hints. Sweet caramel and earthy malt flavors, some cherrios and some earthy and floral hops and a very mild bitter finish that rapidly dissipates. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
maugus4ever (121), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Dec 21, 2008 Pours amber with a small white head and decent lacing. Aroma of caramel and malts. Nice caramel and toffee flavors come through, with a good balance of malts and hops. Lighter mouthfeel than expected but not necessarily in a bad way. Good amber ale. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 8, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of Butters shared with Maniac. Caramelized malts with slight fruitiness, cereal grain, and floral hops. Mostly clear amber golden with small white head. Nice tea like hop flavor with light caramel, cereal, and no fruit in flavor. Light body and mouthfeel. Dry finish with touch of residual bitterness. Nice example of an amber. arventresca (334), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Aug 16, 2008 TAp. Amber with white head. Another at the PGA Event on Greensboro. Pretty good. A little like a Boston Lager. Better than the other Natty I sampled. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Aug 10, 2008 Another pleasant surprise from these guys. I had never even heard of them and here they are making some decent brews. Clear deep amber pour on draft with thin head of light tan color. Malty and biscuity. Good medium body was not overcarbonated. Very enjoyable amber.
