| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 1, 2006 This aroma of this deep amber ale is rich with chewy malts, caramel with some toffee, and just a suggestion of sweet apples. Creamy mouthfeel. The taste delivers the maltiness that the aroma promises and has just enough bitter hopping to keep the sweetness under control. Nice.
