Commercial Description:
Strong-style India Pale Ale, deep copper in color witha a big, malty, hoppy palate and dry hopped with Centennial & Antanum for a spicy, citrus aroma. What better name for a big, strong beer than one of the biggest, strongest weapons of the Revolutionary War - the cannonball.

Courtesy of dkachur. Pours hazy deep gold with copper core and thin tan head. The aroma is mild musty sticky malts, pine hop bitterness and not much else. The taste is pine and floral hop flavors mixing with a nice malty sweetness before moving toward increasing hop bitterness and a touch of grain. Nice stuff.

12oz bottle via Secret Santa Summer 2009-Pours a hazy orange with a huge dense beige head. Nose is subdued but orange and sweet resiny hops. Starts sweet and ends bittersweet. In the middle are some fruity juicy hops..tangarine, pineapple, orange, a liitle grapefruit and a bit of pine. Also some crystal malts are evident. Anti dry finish....but not overly sweet... Body is full and she is full of sticky resin. Carbonation is medium. A pretty tasty above average IIPA. Oh, and this reminds me a little of Pizza Port Wipeout...which is a good thing to be reminded of!

Bottle at Tampa tasting, thanks jdubFL I think. Poured a slightly hazy copper color with a thin off-white head. Nose is full of pine, grass, citrus. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. This one has a solid caramel foundation with a good amount of unbalanced hops bitterness, yum. Finishes bitter with a lingering citrus note. Very nice.

courtesy of jdubfl pours orange, hazy. aroma and taste, hoppy, caramel malts present with a light mix of citrus/pine hops. Not overly boozy, but a nice warming abv sneaks up with the malts and cover the palate.

Thanks IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours hazy yellow with soapy white head. Nose is caramel, sugary lemon, lemongrassy spice, and citrus hops. Flavor is caramel, sugar, grass, and citrus hops. Medium bodied beer that lingers with hop bite. Nice.

Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet citrus. Tastes more bitter but has a decent sweetness to balance it out. Very much a hop bomb.

Left over from a Christmas trip down to North Carolina. Aroma is very light, neither hops nor malts terrible strong, some floral and citrus notes. Pours a deep orange hued brown, with a good tan frothy head. The flavor is mild pine, and citrus, the hops and malts are very well balanced. Not to carbonated... A very good beer.
