| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2009 12 oz bottle: Pours a amber color with a nice head. Aroma of strong citrus notes and just the right amount of hops. Goes down very smoothly with almost no hoppy bite. A little thin for my taste. Very nice lacing though. The "Double IPA" tag is a little misleading, but an okay drink from Nattys. MaltOMeal (653), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Updated: Jan 26, 200912oz bottle thanks to jrob21. Pours a cloudy amber with a thin, off-white head. Nose is very powerful citrus. Taste was same as smell. Mouthfeel was medium-thin with a strong, mouth tingle from the hops and a very bitter finish. Out of balance in a hop-forward way, but that’s ok for this hop-head. Loved it. gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Nice hoppy, fruit forward nose, though quite muted. I really wasn’t a big fan of this guy. It was plenty smooth, but the flavors weren’t all that well balanced. Not my favorite IIPA.
