Apr 23, 2007 Orange, and rather syrupy looking, too. No head. Very heavy aroma of hops and alcohol. Thick and malty, with a surprisingly big caramel and brown sugar flavor, considering how hoppy it smells. Plenty of big citrusy hops, too, though. nice blending of sweet and bitter thoughout, and rather dryish finish. At 2007 Hickory Hops.

Apr 21, 2007 Growler courtesy of kp sampled on 1/4/07: Pours a hazy copper orange with a thin, wispy white head. Aroma of sweet, candy-like caramel malt has a citrusy hoppy presence. Body starts sweet and pale malty with nice fresh green piny and citric hoppy balance. A nice, fresh IPA.

Feb 17, 2007 On draft at the brewpub . Nice looking light gold with a moderate white head. Hoppy pine and citrus aroma over a light brown sugar background. Medium body and carbonation, pretty clean on the palate. Bitterness takes center stage, although there is a pretty substantial caramel malty background that prevents thing from getting out of hand. A very nice double IPA.

Jan 23, 2007 Light orange color with a white head. Aroma if malty with some hop background. Flavor is malt with some nice bitter hops to finish.

Jan 3, 2007 This is a nice brew. Pours out a deep orange color with a nice white head. Aroma is very hoppy and citrusy. Flavor was nice, but not nearly as bitter as i had hoped for. Over all not a bad brew at all. Something I will have again. Also after 6 pints of this stuff, youll be drunk. I certainly was.

Oct 25, 2006 GABF 2006: Hazy amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma was hop foward with citrus and grass notes. Good malt standing right behind it. The flavor was mostly sweet malt with light hop flavor running in the background. Kind of mild on the bitterness in the finish.
