Hazed ornage our with a creamy white head and lace. More maltiness on the nose than hops. Rich sweet malt with hints of apple with a nice medium bitter finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Not as much hops as I expected.

growler-pours a rich retaining off white head and cloudy orange/gold color. Aroma is medium malt-some caramel/bready. Taste is medium malt-caramel/bready, earthy/slight floral hops-some bitter. Medium body. Nicely done. Thanks to decaturstevo for picking this up.

Draught at the brewpub. Floral Kent hops are evident on the nose. Well balanced and very drinkable but not potently hoppy. Appeared light amber orange with little head or lacing. Brief lingering bitterness and a medium body.

cloudy orange, creamy beige head, swatches of drippy lace, light aroma, light sweet malt flavor balanced by floral hops, touch of fruity orange that blossoms as it warms along with a growing bitterness that stays in check with the sweetness, nice long bitter finish,

Superb IPA! (My favorite style) Orange-amber pour with a 2-finger head and generous lace. Wonderfully refreshing citrusy malt nose. Grapefruit, malts and citrus almost perfectly balance with a nice, pine bitter finish (medium linger). Really nice job and extremely well put together! Feels satiating, yet perfectly cleanses the palate with zesty bitters.

Flat and sweet. Like an extract brewer tried his hand at an IPA. Not bad, but I would rather buy a different pint.

Pours out a nice cloudy golden yeloow color with a nice white head. aroma is hoppy, with nice hints of grapefruit and grass. Flavor is very hoppy and first but ends up with a rather weak watery finish. over all not a bad brew at all. this is a nice quality brew pub.

From notes 3/26/05: Pours an unfiltered but just moderately hazy golden orange with a fluffy pocked off-white head. Lace rings demarcate every sip of the beer inside my glass(es). Stellar. Aromas are flowery and yeasty. Fresh-from-the-vine earthy hop note too. Schizophrenic flavors of English herbalness and American juiciness. A proposed "classic English IPA" from the board, but too much bold American citrus hop character splashes through with alternate sips. Bone dry with one swallow, juicy grapefruit on the next, repeat. Firm malt base. More pleasant bread dough yeastiness. 65 IBUs of bitterness shellac the tongue. Again, it seemed a blend of two IPAs: reserved, dry, bitter English style and walloping, juicy, grapefruity American; not so much that "classic" UK IPA as advertised on the chalkboard. Solid mouthfeel. Very drinkable and clean, as seemingly are all of Scott’s beers at Natty Greene’s.
