CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 14, 2009 Tap at the brewpub on 2/2/08: Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a spotty-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of big fresh piny grapefruity hops and a touch of sweet pale malt. Body starts fairly full and sweet with a nice fresh grapefruity hoppy presence before a crisp bittersweet finish. A nice IPA. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Feb 13, 2009 Slightly hazed orange pour with a creamy white head and lace. Light sweet with a very nice hint of evergreen bitter. Nice balance of malt and hops a very nice sweet maltiness. A medium bodied beer with very good carbonation. Another damn solid beer from these guys. SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 8, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. The aroma belies a moderate amount of freah floral hop aroma. My guess is that old classic Cascade. This is unfiltered, has chill haze and is a deep amber color. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA Feb 7, 2009 Cloudy brown with little head to speak of. Nose is resiny with citric notes. Body is softly carbonated with a a solid malt backing. Hop character is earthy with fruity characters subdued. Pretty even throughout the entire swallow; no flavor takes control. I would have liked a more hop forward aroma and perhaps something more memorable in the finish. Just fades away. Ok IPA. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Sep 23, 2008 (Brewgrass08, server called it an APA) Hazy amber body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange. Taste is medium sweet, orange, light grapefruit, peach. Light-medium body. dkachur (2316), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Apr 27, 2008 Tap at brewpub. Hazy bronze color with a big head that quickly dissipates. Very sweet and strong citrus aroma, almost like a lemon lime soda. Strong hop taste that is similar to the aroma, though maybe a little more flowery. This could use more of a malt backbone. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Apr 19, 2008 Poured a rich orange color with a white head. Aroma featured a lot of citrus and flowers with a little bilt of toasted malt presence. Flavor was similar; a lot of citrus and floral elements. Good bitterness in the finish. Malt backbone was just present. Favorite of the day. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Feb 24, 2008 Name: Full Moon
