CaptainCougar (5374), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 14, 2009 Tap at the brewpub on 2/2/08: Pours a semi-transparent dark mahogany brown with a nicely-lacing froth of light tan head. Aroma of sweet dark malts and a touch of milk chocolate. Body starts with decent full;ness and some dark caramel sweetness and a roasty malty bitterness for balance before a thinner dark chocolate finish. An authentic dry stout. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Feb 13, 2009 Almost black pour with foamy tight head and lace. Roasted malt and light coffee on the nose. A light burnt coffee flavor and a pretty nice bitter. A tad thin but with good carbonation. A bit above average BP stout a slight twang takes a bit away from it.
