| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Cloudy straw-orange pour, minimal sudsy head and webbed lace. Citrus, wheat and clove notes to the bouquet. Great clove and banana notes in the flavor! These accompany, indicative of style, wheat and citrusy (orange-lemon) contingencies. The clove really adds to the finish and after. The mouthfeel is slick to the palate, and went down perfectly for a hot summer July 4th! 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Sampled at Brewgrass Fest. Hazy pale gold color with minimal head. Aroma was wheaty, fruity, and a little spicy (just a touch). Had a definate tangy bite in the finish. Not bad, but certainly not my favorite Hefeweizen. 19641948 (491), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From notes 8/14/06:
Pours a murky deep gold color with a thin white head. Dull illumination from within. Loose lacing slides down the glass. Aromas easily of banana and clove. Modest spicing and a fair whiff of banana. Flavors quench the thirst with a smooth wheaty feel and ample clove tones. A touch of lemon zest. Moderate mouthfeel. Drinkable and thirst-quenching for a summer’s afternoon. I enjoyed it better than their previous Bavarian-Style Hefeweizen brewed a while back. This version had more oomph to it.
