Wife brought this back from Greensboro. I love my wife. Pours a deep brown with purple tint color with a really thin off white head. Roasted malt flavor and hop bitterness. Candi sugar and caramel aroma. Leaves a faint sweetness on the backside. Long finish and full bodied. Very interesting brown ale.

Bottle. Pours brown with a small head. Aroma is very nutty, hints of toast and baking chocolate are noted. This is a pretty straight up brown ale. Nice and nutty, not overly sweet, It’s toasty all around and the finish is doughy. There is a strange, almost vegetal aspect towards the finish. This may have been my least favorite out of the Natty Greene’s bottled lineup.

Among this brewery’s uninteresting bottled beers with goofy names, this one is actually the best. Totally good brown ale worth the buy.

Pours dark brown with thick off-white head and spotty lacing. Brown sugar, malts, chocolate, and caramel upfront. Slight coffee flavor combined with hops on the finish

Bottle thanks to badnloose. Pours a medium brown color with a small dissipating head. Aroma is that of a typical brown ale with a small note of dark chocolate. Flavor is about the same, creamy, with coffee and bitter chocolate.

tap @ Natty Greenes: Poured a clear brown color with a creamy beige head. Light roasted malt makes up the aroma. Some notes of fruit and hints of coffee. The flavor had a decent roast to it with fruitiness and hints of coffee.

Tap. Incredibly dark brown, tettering towards black in the right light. Tan head slow to dissipate. Full aroma of chocolate and nutmeg, creamy and strong taste. Flowed so well I didn’t want to stop drinking. Great with a meal.
