Tap. Light amber-orange pour, white head. Aroma of wheat and Clementine. Flavor of light malt. Quite drinkable. Bottles are occasionally skunky.

Natty Greenes SUTHUN Pale Ale. Half-decent, but it’s hard to make a pale ale stand out these days. It’s gotta be good, because there is a lot of competition. OK but not rebuyable.

Bottle that Daniel gave me. Not bad, really. Pours orange color with a white head. Fairly hoppy smelling and plenty of pine to go with it. Smooth and refreshing as well. Would be nice on a summers day, I think. Not outstanding, but not bad either.

Bottle thanks to badnloose. Pours a slightly dark amber color. Small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is hoppy, with notes of pine and citrus. Flavor is citrus, with some floral notes. I really liked this one as it’s a very solid APA.

Bottled as Natty Greene’s Southern Pale Ale. Lightly sweetish, grassy aroma with strong pretzel overtones, light citrus, and a touch of pine. Hops transport me to a brewpub. Clear orange pour with a soapy white head. Taste is citrus, bready, pretzel, and grass; dries out deliciously to a pale malt and pretzel aftertaste. Deft kick of tangerine. Decent hop character here, just the right amount of sweetness with low levels of bitterness. Feel is a bit soapy, but has a nice medium body for sessions. On the whole, a pleasure.

Draught at the pub. Clear amber with a small off-white head, some lacing. Medium bodied, smooth palate. Some basic west cost hopy, some citrus, pine as typical. Moderately bitter and balanced.

Not a bad APA. This place has became my favorite brew pub and now they are bottling their beers! Pours out a nice deep golden color with a small beige head. aroma is malty with a nice citrus and hop mix to it. flavor is decent with hops and a nice balance of malt to it. Over all a nice brew. Somehow i managed to not drink this one at the pub, but found a six pack of bottles. Glad i bought them.

tap @ Natty Greenes: Poured a clear golden color with a creamy off-white head. Caramel malt aroma with some light citrus. Caramel malt flavor with a citrus middle and finish. Light bitter finish that grows. with a decent length. Light to medium body.
