Sampled at Brewgrass 2007. Clear straw color with a medium-thick white head. Pretty mild aroma hop-wise, the graininess is more noticable on the nose. Very mild hop presence taste-wise. Tastes like a well-hopped golden.

Pours a clear light copper color, with a small off white head. Piney hop aroma seems to dominate the smells. Very mild citrus is there too. The flavor was mild hops, pretty bitter though, with some skunky characters. pretty watery and lacking of any semblance of complexity. Pretty boring and uninteresting. Although drinkable for what it is.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours honey gold with white head. The aroma is piney with some dark grain and hints of tangerine. The flavor is tangerine and pine with a kick of sugar behind it. Sappy pine flavor continues into finish. Somewhat leathery aftertaste.

on tap-pours a retaining foamy off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops. Taste is sweet citrus/pine hops-bitter, secondary medium malt. Clean mouth feel. Good effervescence.

Orange-amber pour with no real head nor lace of which to speak. The nose is grassy. This is at first reminiscent of an ESB with pale malt and biscuits. The finish is dry and hopped with biscuit notes still available. This APA cleanses the palate very well, even with heavier American food (burgers, clubs, cheeses, etc.). Its lengthy finish, dry-hopped, is quite indicative of style, and makes for a great example of an APA.

This pale ale seems like every other at first but let it ramble through your mouth and you’ll notice a caramel-smoky flavor that makes it a very unique but still veryu authentic pale ale.
