(Brewgrass08) White head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, orange, light toast, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, orange, grassy, light bread. Light-medium body.

on tap-pours a retaining foamy off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops. Taste is sweet citrus/pine hops-bitter, secondary medium malt. Clean mouth feel. Good effervescence.

Tap at the brewpub on 2/2/08: Clear effervescent bronze color with a frothy-lacing stringy off-white head. Aroma of lightly toasty caramel malts and some earthy grapefruity hops. Body starts lightly pale malty sweet with grassy piny bittering hoppiness. Finishes crisp and quite drinkable. A good APA.

This is a well balanced, quaffable American pale ale. Golden bodied with a creamy, good lacing head, the aroma of this ale is sweet malt with sturdy grapefruit and pine hop scents. The malts are somewhat toasty in the flavor, still quite sweet, with the hop bitterness remaining strong and lasting long into the finish. Good stuff.

tap @ Natty Greenes: Poured a clear golden color with a creamy off-white head. Caramel malt aroma with some light citrus. Caramel malt flavor with a citrus middle and finish. Light bitter finish that grows. with a decent length. Light to medium body.

Draft at WBF Durham. Amber bodied. Short white head. Nose is citrusy hops, light caramel backbone, sweet malt and light pine. Taste is more pine and citrus with sweet malts, chewy caramel and pleasant hop bitterness. Body is medium with soft carbonation and light lingering bitterness. Ends with more caramel, citrus oils, piney hops and malt notes. Nothing extraordinary, but done well enough.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with an orange hue and no head. Citrusy hop nose and flavor with crisp grainy undertones. Moderate carbonation. Not bad.
