Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Mar 14, 2004 February 3, 2004 bottling. Pale, sparkling yellow, with huge sparkling carbonation forming a large white head that quickly fades. I smiled as I sniffed the nose of this beverage. Although the gas station had been careful to keep this beer cellared at 40 degree Farenheit temperatures, I was worried that the exposure to the flourescents may have damaged the bouquet. But cereal aromas of corn and rice rose to greet me, unharmed by their handling over the past 30 days. These aromas merged seemlessly into an aroma that was somewhat reminiscent of Sanger Hall at MCV, in the room where they perform the medical autopsies. Sharp, attention grabbing carbonation brought my palate bouncing to life, preparing it to meet the rush of flavors. Rice, corn, and a slight sweetness flooded my mouth, before fading away rapidly, leaving only a trace of memory behind. Vile stuff. envane (251), Evanston, Illinois, USA Mar 13, 2004 Updated: Mar 16, 2004Not *that* bad. Pale yellow, no head, no aroma. Sweet, corn, chemicals. 75 characters, huh? redrum (5), forest city, North Carolina, USA does not count Mar 10, 2004 this is one of the worst ice beers i have ever had. here we call them the nasties but after about 2 or 3 the taste becomes more natural. beercoach (14), Columbia, South Carolina, USA Mar 4, 2004 Cheap and strong, does what it's supposed to. The guy who made the comment about beer pong was right on: I think the flavor actually improves after a few ping pong balls have been fished out of your cup......... Chillson16 (5), New York, USA does not count Feb 25, 2004 let me tell you a little about what i like to call nattie ice. it may not be as popular or as good tasting as ur fancy smanchy beers. but by heck it gets the job done. it is an execellent beer pong beer and flows nicley into a 16oz red plastic cup and if that is not good enough for you i dont know what is. in the immortal words of dave chidyllo, "if nattie ice were a woman i might actually get some" firemedic713 (169), Palm Bay, Florida, USA Feb 16, 2004 Rice hop beer. This beer has little to offer in terms of taste and quality. To be drunk to be drunk.(forgive the grammer) Hoss (602), Florida, USA Feb 13, 2004 The guys I hunt with in GA buy this and try to get me to drink it, I am never that desperate IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA Feb 10, 2004 Nasty stuff. A lot of days in college it was this or beast because it was $5 for 12 and it was 5.9%. No redeeming qualities at all except it's cheap and strong.
