Like most ice beers, this sucks. It's got that funny taste to it I can't describe, but if you've had any ice beer you know what I mean. Some people like that taste, normal people like me don't. This is cheap, though. 12 pack of bottle for $4.99 in Milwaukee as of 01/05/2004.

From the tap, served in a standard bar pint glass. Poured a clear pale straw golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing. Had a largely a clean nose, faints aromas of cooked corn, rice malts and alcohol of a solvent nature. Good carbonation and crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. Bland and sterile alcohol tasting, cooked corn and husks, rice and solvent alcohol flavor coming through at the end and a corny alcohol lingering in the aftertaste, the drinkability is not that great, a step above water. Had this today at lunch, the tap choices were pretty poor to begin with, but I thought I would go ahead and try this, bad decision.

On sale at the Beer for Less in Moon Township for $10 per 24-12oz bottle case. Usual case is $11.50. The aroma is off fruit spoil and alcoholic. Pale yellow american color and appearance, as expected. A combined malt liquor and pilsner bite greets the tongue. It is however, relatively mild and well controlled to an extent at first. Much more offensive than natural light in flavor. What’s the deal with these cheap ’ice’ beers, you just want to get drunk? Could these be simply cheap malt liquors in disguise? Nasty light I can live with but this is almost like an offensive micro-brew. Rather coarse and high in alky impressions. There is this processed industrial bite that you cannot overlook while you are consuming. Mild carbonation that at least takes your mind off the coarseness of this brew. Due to the price, this beer’s finish is barely tolerable, and this is coming from a taster who likes pale lagers. The cost of this is 42 cents per bottle, but as the cheap expert, I know there are so many other inexpensive pale lagers that are even less in cost and much more enjoyable. Will not buy again if the opportunity presents itself. To sum it up, this stuff is unrefined and rude.

We call it "nasty ice". It tastes like beer in a very desparate way. You can get a 12 pack of this crap for 5 bucks, so if you really need beer and are short of fundage, you might want to try the "nasty ice" 12 pack challenge. This beer will make you stink real bad. So you may want to avoid drinking it on a hot day, or at a barbeque or something. I suggest drinking it with some snacks, realy salty snacks like chips, as it may be the only thing that will help you chug it down. Dirt cheap beer, for a dirt cheap buzz.
