Probably the most worthless beer you can buy. (people actually pay for this?) An unfortunate right of passage for many an underage drinker.

the only reason I am not giving this the lowest possible rating is that my dad used to drink this back in the day and I dont want to rate his beer the worst.

This is piss-poor stuff. Easily my most forgettable beer experience. Anecdote: some friends and I were filming a student film and needed a can as a prop. All we had was a handful of change, so we bought one 23 oz. can of the stuff. It’s a dry campus, so the can to be empty since we were filming outside. No one wanted to drink it before we got back to campus, so we dumped it out in the parking lot of the grocery store. THAT’S HOW BAD IT IS. I don’t understand the "this beer does its job" comments. Yeah it’s cheap, but if what you want is to get drunk, you can get a lot more hooch on the dollar with cheap whiskey.

Chea cheap cheap, not much point to rating this flavorwise, bud light is probably a little bit better but not by enough that i really care...overall his is crap but it gets you drunk

alright, buy a shit load of this stuff and have a party, its cheap and it will get you drunk. another great idea is to buy a lot of "natural ice" watch freshman chug it and puke their guts out after they fail to realize natty ice has about 2 percent more alcohol by volume.

It is interesting to see what others have to say about this stuff. One guy calls it a "lake beer" - I like the phrase, but in this case I wonder if it means that the beer tastes like putrid lake water. It is also interesting to see how many people remember it as their college’s beer of choice. Anyway, I had a double size can with a corporate label. Its best point was the good-sized, foamy head. There was a nasty aroma of yeast, turpentine, and rotting vegetation. The character was weak and watery, and the taste was tinny and mildly bitter. NL calls itself a pilsner, but I am not sure why. And why does Anheuser Busch make this stuff, when they make the superior Bud Light? But the real question is, why would anybody drink it? I guess the low cost would be the only reason, because it is only a little bit better than skunk piss.

Dont be dumb , this is cheap beer . We cant all go spend 13 dollars a six pack . Natty does what it does , no tatse at all , but does not try to be one of the better beers . Take it for what it is , a lake beer .

I wish i could say i only had this once. Unfortunately there was a good year where i probably drank a case of this a week. its probably in your best interest to never drink this.
