Commercial Description:
This medium-bodied English-style brown ale is all about the malt. It has a blend of six different malts and a low hop character. Moderate malty sweetness with slight nutty/caramelly flavor and aroma. Smooth, malty and easy to drink! Light beer drinkers OFTEN like this beer after they get past the fear of its color.

On draft at the brewpub. Beer pours like a slightly flat cola - similar color and head. Aroma deepens as the beer warms. Lovely smooth nut brown flavor, about the best nut brown flavor ever. Good any time of the year.

On tap at the brewpub on Opening Day. Pours dark amber with reddish tones. Has a thin off white head. Nutty caramel toffee aroma. Thin in body, but not too thin. Really flavorful hazelnut with slight chocolate and mild roastedness. Good residual cocoa flavors.

Rating is ~2-3 weeks old as I waited for the beer to get into the ratebeer system. In all honesty, there was nothing remarkable about this drink...typical brown ale appearance. Roasty flavor with some underlying sweetness. I felt this was somewhat watery on the palate, and that detracted somewhat

Sweet roasted aroma. Amber to deep brown. Roasted hazelnut nut flavor. Full body.
