Thanks to beastiefan2k. This was a nice treat. A blonde style was perfect for aging in Chardonnay barrels, allowing the wine character to shine through in both the aroma flavor. It truly tastes like Chardonnay.

Aromatics that jump out more in line with a Champagne than an Ale. Chardonnay character is huge. Some tart, sweet aspects in the palate. Wonderfully golden, light lacing on the glass. Aging extremely well. Batch 1

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Cloudy deep gold with a good sized white head. Aroma is slightly funky with notes of weathered wood, fruit, and grain. Taste is of wood, wine, heavy grapes, and funk with a dry mouthfeel.

Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Nose is major chardonnay. White grapes, gravel, slight butter notes. Moderate mouthfeel, high carbonation, buttery, alcohol, really tart chardonnay. Good stuff.

Fun stuff! 750ml bottle. Heavy buttery California Chardonnay greets the nose. Dusty and slightly grassy yeast. Nice and pleasant pale malt presence. Perfumy and floral as well. Barrel and malt work well together. Pours a clear, sparkling gold with a frothy bright white head leaving spotty lacing. Flavor has lots of Chardonnay. Herbal ans slightly tart yeast. The yeast esters compliment the malt and barrel quite well. Creamy, soft texture. Delicate carbonation with a light tannic and estery finish. Nice! Thanks Eugene!
