Commercial Description:
Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

An initialy hop aroma that smells like pineapple and tropical fruit. I also got a little grass. Reddish orange with a 1/8 inch head. Flavor is very sweet and malty with a fruity hop profile. Not alot of bitterness. Very smooth. Becomes more piney and less fruity as it warms. It is very smooth on the palate. Not very resiny or dry either. This is not one of my favorites for the style, but it is not bad by any means.

Thanks to realale420 for this bottle. Amber in color with frothy off-white head. Nose of hoppy and pine with citrus. Grapefruity was up front flavor with a nice balance with the malt. Medium mouthfeel with a clean, yet hoppy finish.

12 oz bottle, pretty dark amber ,for an IPA,clear with an attractive,l;arhe thick creamy eggshell coloured head. Very spicy aroma slighly piney but with good undercurrents of malt, red grapefruit. Crisp taste , mainlly of grapefruit hops and some good underlying maltiness, actaully turns out to be somewhat balanced in the end. Very nice mouthfeel, smooth and ends well. Overall a pleasant West Coast IPA.

Actually better than I expected...especially since their pale nectar was terrible. Very floral and crisp...nice clean finish with an orange appearance. Not a bad beer at all considering the price of the 6-pack. Worth a try if you’re low on money and wanna slam a few...a very good example of an American IPA

12oz bottle via trade with tever! - Thanks Tom! - Pours amber with a fluffy offwhite head that stays well and leaves a trail of lace. Aromas of floral and even a little perfumy hops. A good dose of grapefruit there too. Flavor amazingly though seems much more balanced than the nose indicates. Amazing balance between the good dose of hops in this and the bready caramel malt notes that intermingle. Good body but a nice crisp clean finish. One of the more balanced IPAs I’ve tried.. Very nice..

Bottled. Thanks Fredrik. Amber colour. Citric, resiny aroma, malt is present. Good malty flavour, bit sweetish with soft mouthfeel and notes of citrus and resin. Bitterness is like what you can expect from a US IPA.

An assertive yet pleasant beer; strong malt flavor, fruity/citrus notes, spicy finish. Full, soft mouthfeel. Definitely worth looking for. (Bottle)
