Poured light amberish with medium head. Tasted like it smelled, very little malt going on.. not too bitter and plenty of fresh hop taste. bhensonb (4336), Woodland, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Aroma of flower hop, with some citrus. Amber color with beige head. Starts with a flowery taste, backed up by some citrus hop, and malt sweetly lurking in the background. This is really what an ale should be. The finish has those flowery notes, and the bitterness is just appropriate. jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 24, 2006 Hoppy aroma; somewhat perfumy, but nice. Fresh and floral. Clear amber body with a very slightly off-white head. Quickly, but not fully diminishing head. No lace. No haziness. First sip suggests more of an APA than an IPA. Second sip hops come through. This is a very drinkable and smooth IPA with exceptional balance. Whenver I saw the Nectar Ales before, I thought, perhaps subconsiously, that they were nectar or juice and stayed away. Looking for a new IPA six pack, I saw this and decided to give it a shot. Pleasant surprise. This is a session beer if there ever was one. Really good. jcwattsrugger (5525), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Fiery orange-red body, thick off-white head, leaves nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruity and piney hops residues and toast. Flavor is a swirl of floral and citrusy hops, with a bitter, earthy finish. Creamy, soft. ChazMania (414), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2006 Tap. Good and crisp single IPA. I have had so many double ipa’s lately that a single was very light. Not to take that away from this, it tasting very fresh, and the hop was right up front just like I like a single ipa. Would order again. AlabastorJones (765), San Francisco, California, USA
