Commercial Description:
Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

Very strong outing from nectar, I’m starting to really like their beers. This is a really really good IPA, close to great. The smell is fantastic and the hops are right in balance with sweetness and bitterness.

I tried this on a long shot but it was quite fantastic. Light in color and body but had boat loads of citrus hops. very flavorful and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours copper with white head, with lively carbonation. Sweet citrus hop aroma. The malt profile is very tea like with some british characteristics, nicley balanced by interesting fruity notes from the hops...lemon, orange, pear. Bitter and slightly herbal finsih. This is pretty solid and nicely balanced.

Orange amber color. Smell of hops, grapefruit and other citrus. Also some honey and iced tea. It tastes like iced tea, honey, some hops and flowers. I would say it tastes like a semi-unsweetend iced tea.

Clear, magnifying and bright orange-copper in color with a creamy, cohesive, quarter inch foam head. Sweet aromatic symphony rolls out honeycomb, lemongrass, grapefruit rind, orange skin, marmalade and apricots. Flavor produces similar arrangements, introducing itself with a bright and succinct. Mandarin and clementines come out with an orange Fanta soda flavor. Mango and grapefruit meet for the tropically arranged picture while the honey hop tempo perseveres. Tingly carbonated and active at first, and then the palate bitterness plateaus. More sweet than bitter, though it’s phenomenally balanced. Honeycomb and nectar glide down pine needles and a sweet c-hop flavor surmises the finish. Thanks for the bottle, tpkenned!

12 oz Bottle. Wow, just wow. I was pretty iffy about trying this beer, but I was blown away. Great orange and hoppy flavors.

From the bottle.

Pours an attractive orange amber with a big white head. The nose provdes a big spiced citrus cascade hop aroma, strong enough to cut right through the stuffiness of a bad allergy attack.

The flavor is lovely, a mouthful of hops carefully tempered by warm malt notes, rich with tropical fruit, avoiding all of the common traps: enough hops but not too much, no metal anywhere, not too sweet. The mouthfeel is full and satisfying, rich but not too oily.

Lovely beer. I didn’t know anything about this one, and it came out of nowhere to make a very positive impression on me.
